My One Brand / FAQs

Clear answers.
A confident next step.

What to expect from the complete course and its four connected sections.

Who is My One Brand for?

Freelancers, consultants, coaches and solo business owners who want their professional presence to reflect the quality of their work. It suits people building a foundation as well as those refining an established brand.

Is this one course or four separate courses?

One course, with four connected sections: Brand Ready, Story Ready, Photo Ready and Video Ready. All four are included in the complete My One Brand course.

How does the approach fit together?

Clarity helps you understand your audience, value and direction. Story turns your experience into messages people can understand and remember. Presence brings those foundations into photographs and video. Proof runs throughout: support what you say with accurate experience, relevant examples and credible evidence.

What will I work towards?

A clear brand foundation and positioning statement; core messages and a story bank; a professional bio and About-page structure; a photographic brief, mood board and shoot plan; and video ideas, scripts, a recording setup and an introductory video. The exercises help you turn the lessons into assets you can use.

Do I need to start at the beginning?

Brand Ready and Story Ready give your photographs and videos a clearer purpose, so they are a useful starting point. If you already have that work in place, you can focus on Photo Ready and Video Ready. Reviewing the foundations can still sharpen your ideas or confirm what is already working.

Will this help if I’m just starting out?

Yes. You can build from your experience, approach and the problems you help solve. Where you have limited client evidence, use clearly labelled demonstrations or your own projects rather than inventing results or testimonials.

Do I need photography or video experience?

No. Photo Ready helps you prepare as a client and work with a photographer. Video Ready focuses on clear messages, natural delivery and a simple recording setup. You do not need to become a photographer, editor or technical expert.

Do I need expensive equipment?

A smartphone is enough to begin practising video and poses. Start with clear sound, useful light and a steady setup. The emphasis is on your message and preparation, with equipment choices guided by what you actually need.

Does the course include a professional photoshoot?

No. The course helps you define your photographic style, brief a photographer, prepare for your session and use your finished images. Photographer fees, locations, styling, equipment and other external services are not included. You can work with your own chosen photographer, whether or not you have booked them yet.

What if I hate being photographed or speaking on camera?

Start with small, private practice sessions. The course explores comfortable poses, expressions, movement and natural delivery, and helps you communicate nerves or preferences. Adapt the exercises to your comfort, mobility and personality; you choose when to share your work.

Is this about becoming an influencer or posting every day?

The aim is a credible professional presence and meaningful client relationships. Build useful, evergreen assets that explain who you are, what you do and why your work matters, then use them where your clients are likely to find you. Daily posting and a large following are not requirements.

What do you mean by evergreen?

Messages, stories, photographs and videos that remain useful beyond a passing trend. They form a reusable foundation for your website, profiles, introductions and client communications. Review them when your business, offer or appearance changes so they continue to represent you accurately.

What is the price, and can I enrol now?

The complete course is £299, with a limited-time founders offer of £99 — a £200 saving covering all four Ready sections. It is currently in development and enrolment is not open. Offer dates, access, support and purchase terms will be confirmed before sales begin.

What happens when I join the launch list?

Your name, email address and consent are recorded so you can receive My One Brand course updates, early-access news and practical personal-brand advice. Joining the list does not purchase the course or reserve the founders price. See the privacy notice beside the sign-up form for how your details are used.

Will the course guarantee more clients or sales?

The course helps you communicate your expertise, build useful brand assets and present yourself with more clarity and confidence. Results depend on your offer, audience, application and wider business activity; income, enquiries, sales and follower growth are not guaranteed.
